The hard rock band Votchi from the Czech Republic is set to release a new EP titled “Out Of Love”. The eponymous single, released at the beginning of last year, quickly caught the attention of the Canadian label SODEH Records. Earlier this year, the band followed up with their second single, “The River Knows”. Both tracks have been embraced by rock radio stations worldwide, earning praise from progressive rock fans for their modern sound and the distinctive addition of flutist Olga’s transverse flute, a signature element of the band’s music. Votchi boasts five conservatory-trained members, ensuring a high level of musical excellence. Vocalist Alex McBeat’s lyrics are known for their poetic depth and thought-provoking themes.

The EP concludes with two notable tracks: “Tears To Dust” and “Sing Your Tune”. “Tears To Dust” is a hopeful and loving song with a chorus that’s almost danceable, featuring an “Ozzy-like” interlude. “Sing Your Tune” is a powerful anthem advocating for authenticity, courage, and a positive outlook on life. It critiques societal manipulation and lies, urging listeners to live authentically and embrace personal freedom, creativity, and collective effort for a better world.

Active on the rock scene since 2000, Votchi has released four studio albums and a live DVD. Their music is known for its catchy yet original melodic lines and harmonic progressions, characterized by a sense of build-up and grandeur. The band regularly performs at festivals and clubs across the Czech Republic and is eager to expand their reach internationally.
