The German metal band around Summer Breeze founder Achim Ostertag, Voodoo Kiss, have released their second studio album “Feel The Curse” via Reaper Entertainment. With verve, vigour, punky grit and their typical sense of melodic heaviness, Voodoo Kiss blast, fabulate and groove their way through eight powerful examples of how this music of the eighties can be made exciting, original and rousing in the 21st century.

To celebrate, the band is presenting a music video for the song “On Wings Of Serpent Dreams”.

“On Wings Of Serpent Dreams” is certainly one of the catchiest and most anthemic songs on the new album. I haven’t been able to get the damn thing out of my head for weeks, haha. But “catchy” doesn’t always have to mean “cheesy”! It’s a catchy banger with fat riffs, round melodies and lyrics that get to the heart of the relatively complex content of the concept in just a few words. In my opinion, Steffi and I harmonise particularly well on this song. But Martin’s amazing guitar solo also deserves a mention! We were able to use the beautiful Niederalfingen castle as the location for the video shoot. A stroke of luck in terms of the panorama and the natural backdrop. Enjoy!”
