Two years after the band’s big 40th anniversary and the very successful “Pavlov’s Dawgs” album (which reached number 8 in the official German album charts), the Frankfurt veterans are back this year with a series of re-releases. The albums “Kings Of Beer” and “Disco Destroyer”, released from 1996 to 2000 via Century Media, as well as the hit album “Himbeergeist zum Frühstück”, recorded as Tankwart, will be re-released on CD and vinyl by Reaper Entertainment on October 18th, 2024, remastered and with new artwork.
As part of the exclusive morning pint show at this year’s Wacken Open Air, the band therefore played the Tankwart classic “Himbeereis Zum Frühstück” for the first time in many years, in keeping with the motto.

“After more than 42 years of Tankard and the fifth time in total at Wacken (1998,1999,2001,2017,2024) to finally be allowed to play on the main stage was absolutely awesome.
When we found out that we would be the first band to open the Saturday, the anticipation was all the greater and it was obvious to perform “Himbeereis zum Frühstück” from the second Tankwart album live at our early gig time.
The song was great fun and the audience was WORLD-CLASS!”
“Himbeergeist Zum Frühstück”, as well as “Disco Destroyer” and “Kings Of Beer” will be re-released on CD and limited edition vinyl on October 18th, 2024. The albums will also be available as a limited-edition vinyl and CD box set under the banner “Reaped CM-Years”.
