Rome, Italy; 25th September 2024: Post-romantic blackgaze act Still Wave have unveiled a new music video to the track “Starwound” off their recently released debut album “A Broken Heart Makes An Inner Constellation”.

“A Broken Heart Makes An Inner Constellation” was released this summer via These Hands Melt to rave reviews and is available in CD, Vinyl, Cassette and Digital formats. Grab a copy here.

Still Wave deliver intimate and dark pop songs with loud guitars, shrouded by the feeling of loneliness. Their melancholic music evokes a lost love that has not yet happened.

The band was born from the deep outer space, in a future past of void and broken feelings, to play violently post-romantic, and desperate swansongs for lovers.

The band was started by Luca Fois (guitar) and Eliana Marino (keyboards) to give form to their personal musical vision, a dark blend of shoegaze, post rock, doom black metal. The slow addition of members (Daniele Carlo and Manuel Palombi) completed the instrumental section and when they recruited the vocalist/lyricist Valerio Granieri (also in Rome In Monochrome) they finalised the tracks for the debut album “A Broken Heart Makes An Inner Constellation”.

The album was recorded, mixed and produced in Rome, Italy by Fabio Fraschini (Novembre, Arctic Plateau, Milano 84) and Luca Fois at PlayRec Studio and mastered by Øystein G. Brun at Crosound Studios. After they inked the deal with record label These Hands Melt, Eliana Marino left the band and was replaced by Tomas Aurizzi (also in Aborym).
