Some bands play heavy metal. Some bands are heavy metal. Enter Slovenian powerhouse SkyEye, the best example of category two one could wish for. With their third record “New Horizons”, the sworn brotherhood is officially and successfully applying for the role of heavy metal’s latest and most courageous defenders of the faith, a force of steel that was simmering ever since it started out back in 2014.

The new album will be released on July 19th, 2024 via Reaper Entertainment.

The band presented the first digital single. “Railroad Of Dreams” is available on every major streaming platform: https://lnk.to/RailroadOfDreams

The official music video for the song was filmed at the Museum of Slovenian Railroads under direction of Max Petač.

The band comments:

“The only constant in life is change. We are proud to present you our first single titled “The Railroad of Dreams” from our upcoming album – “New Horizons”. We’ve created our own “Railroad of Dreams” with the inception of the band 10 years ago. In the meantime, we’ve made three albums, played gigs across Europe and made new fans around the world. “The Railroad of Dreams” video shows the core members of the band from the period of the last or shall we say the first 10 years since creation. For the first time, we put under the spotlight our sixth member, the man who was mainly hidden away, geeking behind his desk, our producer and mixing engineer from day one, Grega Smola Crnkovič. And for the last time our founding member and the main driving force in the band’s early days, the man who literally has Sky in his surname, Grega Stalowsky. He was the man that always put 100% of energy and devotion in the band but he feels that will be unable to do so in the future. He is a true metal warrior and we know the decision was not easy for him to make but we fully support his decision to step off the “Railroad of Dreams” train. We wish Grega all the best while pursuing other priorities in life and spending time with his family. But Grega will still be connected to the SkyEye family and will take a part in the band’s songwriting process in the future because he is the man forged in metal. And now we would like to welcome all of you on our “Railroad of Dreams” train.”
