Swedish gothic rock band Scheitan has just released a re-recording of “Fury Flow”, a track originally featured on their 1999 album “Nemesis”. The updated version brings a fresh perspective to the song, swapping the original’s metal-driven vocals for a more melodic approach, giving the track a distinct new atmosphere.

The decision to revisit “Fury Flow” was driven by a desire to explore how the songs from Nemesis would sound with a more refined vocal style. As the artist explain:

“The songs on Nemesis have a great gothic aura, but the vocals came from the metal side of things. I always wondered how they would sound with more melodic singing rather than the screaming we used back then.”

The re-recording was done entirely in Scheitan’s home studio, without external producers or big-name engineers involved. According to the band, this project was a creative experiment while preparing for their next full-length album.

“It was more of an experiment to see how it would turn out, and we’re quite happy with the result”,

he added.

Scheitan has also announced that work on their upcoming album has already begun, with plans to release a single later this autumn, followed by additional singles before the album’s full release.
