One and a half years after the release of their last album “Imperium”, German death metal force Necrotted returns with a brand-new single. “Deus Ex” encapsulates everything fans have come to expect from the band: relentless blast beats, shredding yet melodic guitar riffs, crushing breakdowns, and guttural vocals.

Adding to the brutality, vocalist Fabian is joined by none other than Sven de Caluwé of Aborted and Coffin Feeder. Aborted has been a major influence on Necrotted from the very beginning, making this collaboration a true honor for the band.

To accompany the release, Necrotted has unveiled a powerful music video for “Deus Ex”, directed by Markus Zabel (Sio Motion), who has worked with the band on multiple projects before. The video perfectly captures the dark intensity of the track. Watch it here:

Lyrically, “Deus Ex” explores the deification of humanity and its sins by mankind itself, as well as the devastating consequences for both humanity and nature. As always, Necrotted remains politically and socially critical.

The single was recorded by Marco Bayati, with mastering handled by Marco Kollenz, ensuring a crushing sound that does justice to the band’s signature style.

The band isn’t just bringing new music – April marks the beginning of Necrotted’s long-awaited tour across Germany, France, and Belgium. Alongside Cytotoxin, Acranius, Osiah, and (temporarily) Gutalax, Necrotted will be performing in twelve cities, delivering their signature brutal live experience.
