Industrial metal titans Ministry have unleashed a bold, sensual, and psychedelic new music video for their reimagined version of the iconic track “Every Day Is Halloween”. Originally released in 1984, the band has taken a fresh approach with the “Squirely Version”, blending their signature industrial metal sound with a modern twist that amplifies the original’s intensity.

Directed by Vicente Cordero (known for his work with Cradle Of Filth and Jinjer), the video is a visually stunning and chaotic experience that perfectly captures Ministry’s rebellious, genre-defying essence. Cordero’s visionary direction brings a dark, mind-bending aesthetic that complements the song’s aggressive, haunting atmosphere.

Over the years, Ministry has revisited “Every Day Is Halloween” several times, including a memorable double release in 2010. However, this latest version stands apart as the band continues to evolve both sonically and visually, breathing new life into a beloved classic.

In a message shared alongside the release, Ministry frontman and founder Al Jourgensen reflected on the song’s enduring legacy:
“I’m amazed and honored that folks are still listening to this song 40 years on. Fly that freak flag proudly.”

The release of the “Squirely Version” and its accompanying video serves as a testament to Ministry’s lasting influence on industrial metal, reaffirming their role as pioneers of the genre.

The new video is now available for viewing. Be sure to watch it below to fully experience the psychedelic chaos and industrial energy that Ministry has infused into this iconic track.
