With anticipation building for the September 27th release of the new album from Marche Funèbre, “After The Storm”, the Belgian doom lords have unveiled a stunning video for the second single from the album – the momentous title track. A supremely powerful song, laden with emotion, yet measured, graceful and poignant in its delivery, “After The Storm” tells the story of a person haunted by the effects of past trauma, searching for meaning in life and a reason to go on. It’s a song that demanded something very special for its visual representation and with the help of director Michaël Godart, Marche Funèbre have achieved exactly that.

Speaking about the video,Marche Funèbre vocalist Arne Vandenhoeck said:

“We are delighted to present the video for our new album’s title track ‘After the Storm’. It’s our first real video since 2017s ‘Lullaby of Insanity’.This time we worked with director Michaël Godart whom we got to know from his great work for Soul Dissolution and others. The story was conceived by Michaël and our very own Boris, and gives one possible interpretation of the lyrics. Please be aware that we in no condition support (domestic) violence. We hereby want to thank everyone involved in the making process, the actors, volunteers at our show and all enthusiasts who came out to make this one hell of a video!”
