Italian cosmic doom metal band, Ghostheart Nebula, will release their new album, “Blackshift”, on October 17th through Meuse Music Records. Today, further raising the anticipation for that majestic outpouring of darkness from beyond the stars, the band have unveiled a new single – “Orphan Of Light”. The song is full of masterful dynamic shifts and its sound is all enveloping, with as much power in the quietest moments as in the gargantuan riffs. Speaking about “Orphan Of Light” the band have said:
“Contrasts is the key word with ‘Orphan Of Light’. On one side the desperate cries of a son who seeks spiritual comfort in the astral figure of the ‘Mother Light’, in a limbo made of rarified atmospheres, spatial synths and explosive crescendos. The track moves in this dualism between light and void in which all the instruments chase each other in a roller coaster of emotions that perfectly paints the meaning of the entire Blackshift and marks the closure of the album.”
