On September 20th Forged In Black will be joining top Iron Maiden tribute band, Ion Maiden, for a celebratory night of heavy metal at Southend’s Chinnerys venue. To mark the occasion the band have unveiled a fantastic new video cover version of Iron Maiden’s “Be Quick Or Be Dead”, the opening track from the iconic “Fear Of The Dark” album. The video shows Forged In Black in incendiary live action and will whet the appetite for September’s home town show. Speaking about the rampaging new cover, Forged bassist Kieron Rochester told us…
“As a band, we’ve always had a deep admiration for Iron Maiden. Their twin guitar work, operatic vocals and incredible on-stage energy have been major influences on us. ‘Be Quick or Be Dead’ captures all of these elements perfectly, making it an ideal choice for a cover. We’re excited to share our take on this classic with you all.”
