Evolucija announce tour in Romania

Evolucija is ready for mini tour in Romania along with Ironwill and Andy Rocks starting on October 31st, 2024.

Evolucija, Swiss-Serbian symphonic heavy metal band is set to make waves in the metal scene with their long-awaited studio album, recorded throughout 2023 and produced by metal veteran Marko “Wolfy” Vuckovic (founder of Alister).

The album was mixed and mastered at the renowned Fascination Street Studios in Sweden by Linus Corneliusson and Jens Bogren.

Led by the powerful vocals of Ilana Marinjes-von Arx, Evolucija features Dragisa Marinjes on bass, Marko “Wolfy” Vuckovic and Darko Konstantinovic on guitars, and Aleksandar Kastevarac on drums.

Their second album, ”Hunt”, garnered attention and won the Innocent Award for “Best Album of the Year” in 2018. Theband’s involvement in the German film “Die Templerherren” with the official soundtrack “Pale Rider” solidified their presence in the music and film world.

In 2023, Evolucija was honored with the “Royal Oscar” as the “Best Metal Band in Serbia”. With successful tours in Switzerland, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, and the Balkans, Evolucija shared the stage with heavy metal giants like Paradise Lost, Doro Pesch, Children of Bodom, Tyr and Pestilence.

Evolucija aims to connect traditional heavy metal elements with a modern touch, incorporating symphonic,orchestral, and epic influences into their music. Their music conveys intense emotions and clear messages easily understandable for fans.

Ironwill – The Rock against Bullying project was born in 2018 from an initiative by Salvo “Ironwill” Dell’Arte: the band is part of a wide kaleidoscope in which all artistic forms are involved: music, photography, videos, comics, illustrations and works of art. The first chapter dealt with bullying; in 2019 Ironwill recorded the concept album “The Jonathan’s Journey”.

The second chapter released in 2020/2021, called “Breakout”, is about the evolution of souls; 10 songs (plus an introductory single) linked by the same perspective: a positive evolution.

The band has shared the stage with many important bands and already performed in big and decent festivals like MAsters of Rock, Pannonian Rock, Rock N Iasi, Balkan Metal Meeting and they have booked fort the upcoming summer two more big festivals (Laurus Nobilis – Portugal and Metalfest (Czech republic). They also have already released 3 singles from their upcoming album.

Andy Rocks was formed by Andrea Weiß in 2018. The project, Andy Rocks, sees the music written and arranged by the current members.

“I am active as songwriter and singer since I was a teenager and always loved rock music. We produced our first EP Porcelain Heart in 2019. Our first full album Look at what we’ve done was released in 2021. We write, produce and record everything ourselves, also the artworks and videos”,

states Andrea.

In 2024 the band plans to release and write new songs and videos. The first new single “Three Chords and the Truth” is released on January 26th.
