Following their powerful comeback with the single “Miasma”, German dark rock/ metal act Erdling now offers another glimpse into their upcoming album. Their new track, “Ohne Uns” (“Without us”), paints a haunting vision of a dystopian future where humanity has eradicated itself – a scenario in which the Earth would undoubtedly thrive.

Musically, the quartet stays true to their roots, blending various styles of metal into an impressive and cohesive work. The chorus stands out in particular: a striking accusation that etches itself indelibly into the listener’s mind. Once again, Erdling delivers a compelling demonstration of their ability to fuse profound messages with musical intensity, making waves in the German-language music scene.

Over the last 10 years, Erdling have grown to be one of the hottest german dark metal bands and present an impressive history of 6 top 100 records. In front of the line always their evergreen hit “Mein Element” that has now gained over 9 million streams on Spotify alone. Founded in 2014, the project around Neill Freiwald went public not long after: Under the patronage of producer Chris Harms (Lord Of The Lost), the band quickly finished their debut album and signed with their current label Out Of Line Music even before releasing their first record. Support tours with renowned acts like Megaherz, Lord Of The Lost, Unzucht and Hämatom, before the group came out with their 2nd longplayer “Supernova” and ventured out on their first headliner tour to set their unique mix of dark rock, industrial metal and neue deutsche härte in stone.
