Australian black metal duo Austere have unveiled the music video for their new track “Time Awry,” the first single from their highly anticipated fifth album “The Stillness of Dissolution”, due out on June 6th via Prophecy Productions.
Mitchell Keepin, the band’s guitarist, keyboardist, and vocalist, explains:
“‘Time Awry’ was the second song written for ‘The Stillness of Dissolution’. The early tracks on the album lean toward a more stripped-back, rock-influenced sound, which is evident in this song. Lyrically, it delves into the mindset of a betrayed, introspective soul – one who is keenly aware of time’s relentless passage and desperate to accelerate its inevitable course.”
Austere’s signature fusion of atmospheric black metal continues to break new ground, with “Time Awry” offering a powerful taste of what promises to be a deeply intense and thought-provoking album.
