“The Baddest Man In Electronic Music” aka The Bloody Beetroots aka Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo unleashes his latest collaborative gem today. Called “Killing Punk”, it features UK provocateurs Bob Vylan dishing out a total tongue-lashing laid over a firestorm of Rifo’s grating beats.

“Killing Punk” is The Bloody Beetroots’ first new song of 2025 and the second track since he announced the long-anticipated two part series release in late 2024 “This is Blood” featuring N8NOFACE and Teddy Killerz.

Both tracks are part of a new two-part series, The Bloody Beetroots Forever Pt. 1 & Pt. 2, which will be released via The Bloody Beetroots’ new label, Out Of Line Music.

Says Rifo of “Killing Punk” “This joint is straight raw – one of the grimiest tracks I’ve ever put together. And Bob Vylan? The man was built for this. His energy, his bars – everything just hits different. He was the perfect guy to set it off – both with the sound and the lyrics.”

Bob Vylan adds:

“With The Bloody Beetroots on production and myself taking care of the lyrics, how could we go wrong? This song gets me amped and the third verse is chef’s kiss. Catch all the names if you can.”

Inspired by his lifelong love of punk rock and comics, Rifo first introduced The Bloody Beetroots in 2006, offering music fans an intense sound that mixes classical training and a passion for electronic music into an edgy rock-meets-dance hybrid.

After the critically acclaimed debut LP Romborama, featuring the iconic “Warp 1.9” with Steve Aoki, dropped in 2009, the second LP Hide in 2013 successfully migrated into crossover territory with collaborations with rock and alternative icons like Paul McCartney and Tommy Lee. By 2017’s The Great Electronic Swindle, Rifo continued the electronic-rock narrative with guest spots from Perry Farrell, Jet, Gallows, Deap Vally and more.

Two additional EPs, 2019’s Heavy (with Zhu and Dr. Fresch) and 2021’s The Catastrophists (with Tom Morello) have continued to push The Bloody Beetroots forward, while appearing in games like MXGP Pro, Madden NFL, Asphalt, FIFA, Need for Speed, UFC, RiMS Racing and commercials by BMW, Fiat, Lancôme, Ducati and many others as well as live shows around the globe including appearances at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Primavera, Pinkpop, Fuji Rock and more.
