Dead End Irony’s “Gone” brings back heavy metal in its purest form.
The band’s founding words were pronounced at city of Imatra, Finland in 2010 and now the band is about to release their first full-length album “Battles and brotherhood”. The fourth single now released from the album is called “Gone”, which sounds in the tones of classic 80’s European heavy metal.
The song is written by the band and it’s produced by Teemu Aalto (Insomnium, Ginger Evil, Marianas Rest).
“The song combines melodic elements with a hard hitting riff. There is a lot of repressed emotions in the lyrics. Gone is a song about what it feels like to keep fighting even when you know you’ve lost because you don’t know what else to do”,
tells the lyricist Antti Vainio.
