The second BalashToth EP “=Equation=” is out in digital and digipack CD formats from the band’s Bandcamp page and on Spotify and all the major streaming platforms.
They also released the fourth visualizer video for the instrumental intermission “y = Hope” off the EP. The riffs originate from the demo era of Balazs’ former band Casketgarden, but were never used, however as a calmer intermission between two heavy songs, they fit this EP perfectly.
The title again comes from the (as with all the song titles on the EP) comes again from the “anti-life equation” a concept introduced by DC Comics, symbolizing a formula that can strip away one’s free will. Each track on the EP reflects a different facet of this concept, exploring themes that resonate with contemporary political struggles.
The instruments, production and mix were done by the Ireland based guitarist/composer Balázs, while the vocals were provided by Deathmetalvoicer, a featured singer from Japan.
From folk music-infused melodies to relentless death/thrash assaults, “=Equation=” promises a diverse and powerful musical journey.
