Riveron! is a new mini-festival that takes place in Petrovac na Mlavi – during spring and summer on the summer stage of the Cultural and Educational Center, and during autumn and winter in the premises of the old school. The festival is organized by the non-profit association of citizens P.O.K.A., composed of enthusiasts whose goal is to support, promote and revive the alternative music scene in the city.
The festival started with the event Riveron! vol. 1, held on July 27th, 2024, which attracted about 150 visitors to the summer stage of the Cultural and Educational Center. The tribute band Slick Steel from Belgrade and the metal band Havarija from Belgrade performed at that event. Next event, Riveron! vol. 2, was held on September 21st, 2024, also on the summer stage of the Cultural and Educational Center, with performances by the metal band Offscore from Novi Sad and the hip-hop band Wenom Kru from Belgrade. Despite the cold and bad weather, the attendance was at a high level, as in the first event, and it was covered by the media from RTV Mlava.
Event Riveron vol. 3, which will take place on November 2nd, 2024, will be opened by the young band Prvi Knockout from Petrovac, whose members are Vladimir Milovanović (13 years old), Viktor Ristic (13 years old), Lazar Mičić (15 years old) and Stefan Tasić (16 years old). The rest of the evening will be marked by spectacular performances by black metal band Oskrnavitelj and Kolac from Belgrade.
