Following their latest, critically-acclaimed studio album, Medicine (released in early 2023 via AFM Records) and their recent single-release, “Bury Me”, Boston-based rock act Lansdowne has unleashed a digital EP titled “Bury Me Reimagined”.

“When we were writing Bury Me, we realized how emotional the song could be,” lead vocalist Jon Ricci reveals. “This is a journey from heartbreak to healing, and the guys and I felt like a stripped down version would help convey the vulnerability of the story. I love the soaring strings and the raw approach to the vocals. We love showing two sides to the same song, one hard charging and the other reimagined to be more intimate.
As a big country fan, we thought this would be a fun way to give our fans something different with Kane Brown’s, Bury Me In Georgia. Obviously, we chose it because of the title, but again it was an opportunity to reimagine a great song and give our fans access to another side of Lansdowne.”

1. Bury Me (original Version)
2. Bury me (Stripped version)
3. Bury Me in Georgia (Cover by Kane Brown)

In more than 15 years of an impressive band career, Lansdowne have achieved two billboard charting radio singles, over 100 million streams and views, and have licensed songs to major brands such as iRobot, the NFL, MTV, and more. Comprised of Jon Ricci (Vocals), Shaun Lichtenstein (Lead Guitar / Vocals), Glenn Mungo (Drums), Josh Waterman (Guitar / Vocals), and Mike LaRoche (Bass), Lansdowne have been a force to be reckoned with since emerging into the music scene in 2006. Their latest album, Medicine, that has been lauded by both fans and music press alike, was released on February 3, 2023 through AFM Records.

Ever since they took the rock world by storm, Lansdowne built its name the old fashioned way – on the road; having performed countless shows internationally, including a 2007 tour for the troops across Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, and Kuwait, as well as sharing the stage with rock heavyweights such as Theory of a Deadman, Puddle of Mudd, Creed, Black Stone Cherry, Ice Nine Kills, Pop Evil, or just recently, with Swedish rock queens Thundermother. Now, Lansdowne have announced a European / UK tour as special guests of Nashville rockers Red.

Make sure to catch them live at the following dates:
6th June, O2 Academy Birmingham
7th June, The Classic Grand, Glasgow
