Legendary Cradle of Filth are returning to Belgrade after 15 long years! Mark July 28th on your calendars, notebooks and smartphones.

Cradle of Filth was born in the English town of Suffolk in 1991. In the early years they were marked as black metal band, but over time they added gothic and symphony influences to their musical expression, so as it happens when you approach it very eclectically – put it in the “extreme metal” drawer. Even the band members themselves, especially the founder Dani Filth, were not particularly decisive on this issue during their entire career. Cradle of Filth has always drawn its inspiration from gothic literature, poetry, mythology and horror films. The band has always attracted some controversy around itself, while parents and relatives were not necessarily the happiest if you wore COF shirts there in the mid-00s, which a significant number of metalheads did. Three years after their formation, they released the iconic “The Principle of Evil Made Flesh”, which was ranked by Metal Hammer magazine in the “top 10 most important black metal albums in the last 20 years“. Four years later, they released probably their most famous release, “Cruelty and the Beast”, a concept album dedicated to the Hungarian baroness, Báthori Erzsébet. The band soon reaches the peak of popularity, they regularly cause controversies around the world, the BBC is making a documentary about them, Dani Filth has the main role in the movie “Cradle of Fear”…

So far, they have released 13 albums, and the last is “Existence is Futile”, which was very well received by critics and global fans, so something from that release will be heard on this occasion in Belgrade.

COF are: Dani Filth – vocals, Donny Burbage – guitar, Ashok – guitar, Daniel Firth – bass, Martin Skaroupka – drums, Zoe Marie Federoff – live vocals and keyboards.

Once again, the concert will be held on July 28th at Belgrade KST. The day before, Cradle of Filth will perform in Zagreb. Both events are organized by Hangtime Agency.
