Lÿnx, Calgary, Canada’s eclectic and unyielding hard rock/hair metal outfit, is more than just a band; they are a collective of dreamers who found solace and purpose through the power of music. Formed during the pandemic, each member brought with them a shared dream and a burning desire to break free from the chains of mundane existence. Their third album, “Claws Out” is set for release on May 2024, and it’s chock full of rock n’ roll anthems that will get you moving. The next single is the title track which the band details:
“Title Track!!! With this one, we wanted to hit hard and fast. So one thing led to another and well…Werewolf! In honesty, we wanted this one to have a different theme than other songs and it went through about 3 different versions before we decided to get Ja6ur to write some bloodthirsty werewolf shit and it just worked out.”
“Long Live Rock N’ Roll, Enough Said” declares Lÿnx, encapsulating their philosophy of life and music. The album promises to deliver a complete rock experience, catering to the diverse tastes of their fans. From heart-pounding anthemic lyrics to whirlwind solos, backed up by steady thunder, Lÿnx invites listeners to immerse themselves in a symphony that resonates with the highs and lows of the human experience. With each track, the band paints a vivid picture of their shared struggles, dreams, and the relentless pursuit of the ultimate rock n roll fantasy.
“Claws Out” is straight, heavy rock’n’roll, you could pull it right off the shelf of any record store on the Sunset Strip in the late 1980s, of course with modern-day producing and mastering. It is recommended for fans of Guns N Roses, Skid Row, and Mr. Big.
