“Disgraced Emanations From A Tranquil State”, the portentous second album from Los Angeles, California death metal quartet Apparition, is now streaming in its entirety on the eve of its worldwide release tomorrow through on Profound Lore Records.
The follow-up to 2021’s lauded Feel LP sees Apparition traverse further into the realms of otherworldly doom-riddled progressive dark death metal. Since its conception, the band has been about creating an individualized version of death metal, all the while paying homage to its ancestors. “Disgraced Emanations From A Tranquil State” sees vocalist/drummer Andrew Morgan, guitarist Andrew Solis, guitarist/synth player Miles McIntosh, and bassist Taylor Young creating a dynamic range within the genre, from the brutal to the beautiful. A still expanding glimpse into the Apparition cannon. A lathe of infinite death remaking itself – horrific and pristine.
“Disgraced Emanations From A Tranquil State” was produced by Apparition bassist Taylor Young (Twitching Tongues, God’s Hate, Deadbody) at The Pit Recording Studio and Electrical Audio, mastered by Nick Townsend at Infrasonic Sound, and completed with album artwork courtesy of Vama Marga with additional art by Urgoted.
