NYC’s Witnesses have released the haunting new single “Joy (Beyond the Sound of My Voice)”. Incorporating powerful metal rhythms, progressive leads, intricate melodies, and emotive vocals, Witnesses’ offering traverses an array of textures. The upcoming album, Joy, will be released on all streaming platforms on January 26, 2024 and focuses on themes of spiritual and intellectual freedom.
Greg Schwan comments:
“‘Joy (Beyond the Sound of My Voice)’ is the first single from the forthcoming full-length, Joy. This song weaves a lot of influences together–The Peaceville 3, Katatonia, and more–into a song about moving past and away from people, ideas, and memories that harm you.”
